Wide variety on the menu. Everything was fresh. I had eggs benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly.

Big selection of cuts of steaks. Great prices for amazing food. Breakfast and entrees are very good. Huge Menu! Friendly Staff and homey atmosphere! One of my favorites in Windsor. Kid friendly.

Staff is generally very friendly, and food is always great! Their beef barley soup is one of my favourite soups. With the soup and salad bar, I have a hard time saving room for dinner! I usually get the salmon dinner, and I've never been disappointed! Their mashed potatoes and gravy are also great. I've had breakfast here a few times, as well, and i cant complain. I love breakfast food. All in all, a great place to go for any meal of the day!

The best steak under the sun especially when Jack is on the wood grill! It’s a 12 out of 10 and nothing will ever change my mind. Thursday to Sunday after 5pm!!

Pretty good burger and good bang for the buck, steak. Was always strange that this place busses dirty dishes to stations in the dining room and not back into the kitchen. Never understood that.But, good food at decent prices. Haven't had their breakfast in a long time, but I remember it being good as well.

It was a steaming hot humid day. Service was outdoor service only. Our hostess was amazingly pleasant and did everything she could to help make us more comfortable.. The food was excellent as usual and they had washrooms open for patrons but masks were mandatory while inside using the facilities

Food was great, the server was amazing. I had the steak and eggs. The eggs were a tiny bit over done but the steak made up for that. Definitely try the seasoned potatoes. It was my first time there but will be back.

My experiences have always been good. I only ever go for breakfast here, so I cannot comment on the dinner service. The wait staff is exceptional; every staff member I've experienced have gone out of their way to ensure we have a good time. Price is a touch expensive for what you get, but that's fine. There seems to be a difference between the weekday and weekend breakfast food preparation, but that might just be in my head. I've enjoyed every breakfast visit so far.

Pancakes are amazing and HUGE! They're always open, too! Open 364 days a year. Just went on Thanksgiving morning with the in laws. Got 2 pancakes and was STUFFED!!! Was great. You get your own pot of coffee too at your table to re-fill as much as you want

2 Stars, because the server was good and the steaks were tasty and perfectly rare. The portions are big and there is an AYCE salad bar. Everything else, not so great. The ribs were bland, the ketchup was not Heinz (as on the bottle), the table by the grill has too much traffic and noise from kitchen staff. Personally I didn't mind the dated decor because it looked cozy, but the bottles on the table I would have given 3 stars if it was priced reasonably. I found the menu was WAY overpriced. The quality doesn't justify the price. For the same money we could have gone to a much fancier and better place.

I had recently ate at Lumberjacks and had their steak and I must say it was cooked too perfection. Everything was great.It is economically priced. Service was fairly quick. I would highly recommend that some of the servers smile and even if they don't like their job at least be pleasant with customers for that reason I will give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars

The service was timely and the breakfast was good.

I've been here a few times with my God Parents who go here all the time. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Service was excellent. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The menu is flexible and they have healthier options on the menu as well.When I went there today the special was two eggs, two slices of bacon, two sausages, two pieces of ham, hashbrown fries and toast for $11. That's a pretty good deal for a breakfast!Overall I recommend this Restaurant if you want a good breakfast for a decent price in a good environment.

We were seated quickly, service was fast and friendly. Meal arrived in a reasonable time. Portions were fair. Food was quite good! Steak was cooked properly (med rare) and my finances burger was also well proportioned and well cooked (med well). Highly recommended 😁

Their steak is awesome and you get two sides with it plus the soup and salad bar. Also we had dessert which was really good and the staff are nice.

Just like the one they used to have in Chatham when I was a kid. Amazing burgers! Friendly staff and I pretty decent menu. I think it's a hidden gem in Windsor. Check it out! Family friendly.

This place is iconic stop in Windsor so I'm told. It was evident by the lineup out the door by the time we left. I had an omelet which was excellent and my BF had blurberry pancakes which were to die for. Our server was very friendly. Will definitely go back

I always enjoy going to The Lumberjack , be it lunch time or for dinner. They have an excellent menu , seniors specials , the best steaks and delicious homemade 😋 soups daily. All that and reasonable prices with very friendly wait staff.

Every time I visit Windsor I have to go to the Lumberjack. I always buy the 10oz burger with fries/ coleslaw. The ground chuck burger is always cooked the way I order. Best burger yet))!. Everyone that I have taken to the Lumberjack is always impressed. Excellent food, service and surroundings. Great place for any meal!

I used to work here. I love the food. The steak is so good. The breakfast is my favorite. I love the waffles. Salad bar is my mother's favorite, she will choose this place based on this factor alone.

my rating is ZERO! I stopped in this morning to treat myself to breakfast. However, the older non-working chatting waitress had other ideas. There were 2 tables of people and I observed the other younger waitress working. The older waitress, let's call her Chatty O was chatting to a table right beside mine about some personal business. I stared at Chatty O for approximately 5 minutes but to no avail as her personal time was more important that serving me. So I got up to leave and Ms. O decided to walk over to my table. I held out my hand and said " I don't want to interrupt you" and left. I felt that even if I stayed Ms. O's work ethic was non-existent so I may have received my breakfast in 2 days. I have no tolerance for terrible customer service and hope that the owners speak to Ms. O about this incident and losing a customer. Oh to you Ms. O "have a nice day"!

Old fashioned looking place...super comfortable...a breakfast staple in Windsor! My breakfast at 430pm came out so fast!

It's definitely a hearty meal type of restaurant. However the weight staff leaves much to be desired and they're always so busy that food takes forever.

Our waitress Lenny was absolutely wonderful! Everything was brought to the table so efficiently, wonderful personality. Dinner as always was superb.

We always stop here when we're in Canada. The service is always so friendly and the good is always delicious. The NY Strip steak and eggs was fabulous as was the garlic butter escargot.

Probably the worse service I have ever seen or had. Slow service and not 1 meal but all 4 meals were like warm at best. The liver was over cooked the steak was definitely not medium and well all the rest is easy to figure out. Definitely not the food or service of yesteryear.

I understand the constraints of Stage 2 outdoor dining, however, I expected better tables than the $10 folding card tables. As owners of the most famous breakfast house in town, you can afford to do better. Also your staff are struggling with the new layout and rules, you could at least offer them some reprieve by scheduling more wait staff.

You are in for a treat at the lumberjack. A timeless eatery, they focus on hearty meals that will fill you up and make you smile. Great place for families.

They really need to hire better cooks. They definitely need to fire few people, at least filter them better. Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's just bearable. I'm okay to pay more if they keep QUALITY high and always consistent, but now it's like a lottery - you never know. I am looking for a better place now. I love this place. I make it a point to eat here every time I'm in Windsor. I love the ambiance, the menu printed on the place mat, that they use the word 'flapjacks.' Comfort food that hits the spot with an always friendly staff!

This restaurant has been around for a very long time. The service is friendly and the food come out fast. The food is a bit bland for my taste. No seasonings in the omlette. I also appreciate the large individual tea container they bring. Overall is fairly good
